About that $440,000 house . . .
The LA Times article got me to thinking. As a Congressman, Curt Weldon earns $155,100. He and Mrs. Weldon have six kids, including some still at home, and I think he maintains some kind of home in Washington, too. So how does he afford a $440,000 house? Anybody know?

I don't know but I wish I had that kind of cash so I could move near him. I would love to wave to him and say; Hiya Neighbor!
Let's think about this for a second. Let's say he makes $100,000 a year (which is way less than what he makes) for at least 18 years. DO THE MATH. He owns no property in Washington, he sold it years ago. And he has 5 kids, not 6. THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK.
No, he doesn't have a home in Washington, but he does have an apartment.
he does not have an appt in dc
HE HAS NO PROPERTY IN D.C., for the 3rd time. No apartment, no house.
I heard he sleeps with the homeless in D.C. so he can get the feel of the other America
If he doesn't have an apartment or a house, where does he sleep?
Five kids, six kids, so what. The point is the same.
Are you kidding me? Duke Cunningham was in a 1.2 million dollar mansion with posseions worth twice that. I think we should concentrate on those who deserve the criticism and refrain from attempting to drum up something on someone we may not like politically.
Curt must drink Chateau Lazurne... ( how do you think he got so rich)
or is that Russian Vodka, his daughter brings home.
Maybe its time we bring up Curt's girlfriend in DC. that story has been whispered for decades.
Maybe someone should ask Curt about his Russian oil stock.
